Sundays

Hey everyone

Well, today is Sunday. For some people it means sleeping in and watching sports all day. But for a pastor and his family it means something completely different.

Sunday for a pastor is a busy and tiring day. Did you know that research has been done and it says that when a pastor preaches for 30 minutes it is equivalent to 8 hours of work. No wonder Geoff comes home after church on Sunday morning completely exhausted.

On Sundays we sit in church, pray, sing, and listen to the pastor preach. Then we go home, think we've spend our time with God and it's ok just to live like we always do. Wrong! Every day, every minute, every second belongs to God. Not just sitting in church Sunday morning. We tend to forget that.

I challenge you to spend every second of every day for God. It will change your life.

Have a great week with God everyone
Deb

Hey Everybody . . . I can't agree more about spiritually working for Jesus . . . that 30 minutes or so that pastors completely give of themselves is 150% energy output for our Lord. I find singing similar. I put my all into it and am thoroughly spent afterwards. But what a great exhaustion . . . everything for God . . . everything in the name of Jesus. He gives us the energy and we give it back to Him. Is it rainy in Scotch Village ?? . . . 'cause in Moncton . . . I IS GROWING WEBBED TOES!! "My didn't it rain . . . " . . . hey, isn't that a song?? LOVE YOU ALL, Love Cheryl
