Aren't friends great. I have a best friend, her name is Cheryl. I thank God everyday for her.
Growing up I never had a "best friend". Oh, sure I had friends that I went to movies with, talked to, and played with. But no one that I told everything to. Cheryl is that friend.
When we moved from Moncton to Scotch Village I cried so hard because I was leaving Cheryl behind and I was afraid that our friendship would be over. Well, as far as Cheryl was concerned there was no way on God's green earth our friendship was going to suffer because I moved 3 hours away. She was right. We are closer now then before.
God is so good. He gave me a friend that I can rely on, trust, confide in, laugh with, cry with, and pray with. On top of that Cheryl has taught me how to be a friend. What a gift!
I encourage you to be a friend to someone, a true friend. Build them up, love them, and be a strength to them. Thanks Cheryl, for being that kind of friend and so much more.
Have a great week everyone!
Deb
