Can you imagine having 750 people in your backyard? I couldn't until last weekend. Can you imagine having a Revival Choir singing in your backyard while professional fireworks are set off into the night sky? I couldn't until last weekend.
Our Church puts together a Gospel Celebration every year. It's held on the last Saturday of August. There are different groups that perform every 20 minutes from 2 pm to 10 pm. This was the first year they had fireworks. I'll tell you what, when you're listening to a choir singing "Put Your Hand in the Hand of the Man" while fireworks are going off above them you stand in awe!
Geoff and I were amazed! We met many people from the area, some have come to our church in the past and others have not. This church has the potential to grow big time! After last weekend I have no doubt of that fact! Just imagine what we could do if we didn't put God in a box.
