Geoff's Graduation

May 6, 2006 was Geoff's graduation from Atlantic Baptist University. That was a special day. Geoff's best friend, Gary, flew in from Windsor, ON to surprise him and Geoff's Dad and Step-Mom came in from Toronto.

We had a party for Geoff at The Glades Baptist Church that evening. There were about 40 - 60 people in attendance. Geoff was quite overwhelmed with it all.

It's hard to believe that it was 4 1/2 years ago that we packed up everything and moved to Moncton from Sarnia, ON. I'm sure people thought we were nuts, but if there's one thing I've learned over the last 4 1/2 years it's that when God calls, you go!

We have experienced God's blessings every step of the way. Now don't get me wrong, the path hasn't been straight, nor has it been easy. Far from it! But I've come to realize that the rockier the road the more you learn and grown. Trust me, this family has grown A LOT! None of us are the same people we were when we left Sarnia. That's a good thing. God is contiunually working with us as He molds us into what He would have us be.

I hold dear the verse in Jeremiah 29:11

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
