Well, today was the first day of school for our family. Everyone went to a new school this year.
Ben started grade 6 at Brooklyn District School. His teacher, Mrs. Atwell, is really nice. It was hard for him to get on the bus this morning but once he got there everything went well. For him the day went by really fast. He was able to find his bus after school and came home smiling.

Brianna started grade 10 at Avon View High School. She is very happy because she doesn't have Math or English or Science until the last term of the year. Yeah, she maybe happy now but just wait until that last term and then ask her how happy she is. She is very excited because she is taking Drama right now. She likes all her teachers with the expection of her homeroom teacher who is very boring. (Her words, not mine).

Geoff started at Acadia Divinity College. He likes his professors so far and is excited about this new challenge. He recieved some exciting news on Tuesday. As most of you know back in May Geoff was awarded a three year scholarship of $15,000. $5,000 for each year. On Tuesday Geoff was told that in addition to this scholarship he won the Academic Bursary for having the highest GPA coming into the College. The Bursary is for $2,000. Geoff's tuition for the entire year is paid for! God is amazing isn't He.
Me, well I'm at home. I'm still looking for work. It's not a fun place to be but it's where God wants me right now. One of these days I know I'll look back on this time and thank God that I went through it. I just wish that "one of these days" was today.
God is good!
Deb

"Way To Go Geoff!" Congratulations on yet another acheivement in your journey for the Lord! Debbie, just remember how important you are in this scenerio, you are a good Mother and Wife and to hear your kids tell you someday, just how nice it was to have you at home when they got off the bus, possibly God has great things in store for you--you will know in His Time.
