What a month

Well September is almost over. It went by so fast. Both Brianna and Ben have settled in to their new schools wonderfully.

Brianna is on the school Yearbook Committee and she has joined the InterSchool Christian Fellowship Group at the school. She is making friends and enjoying school.

Ben has joined the school band. He will be learning to play the trumpet just like his dad. In fact, he will be using his dad's trumpet. Needless to say Geoff is rather proud of that.

Geoff has adjusted to the work load of Acadia and the church. He too has made some interesting friends and is enjoying his classes.

I'm involved in a program at Acadia that teaches pastor's wives how to be, well, pastor's wives. I'm looking forward to our first meeting tonight.

We have had an interest few days, to say the least. Brianna and Ben both came home last Thursday with head lice. YUCK!! Let's just say that I have been cleaning, washing, scrubbing, and dosing myself and Geoff in TeaTree oil ever since. We now have a handle on it and prayerfully those terrible creatures will not return.

You know that the internet is full of helpful hints and advice. But every site I went to, in order to find information on head lice, was different. Different advice, different directions, etc. How does one figure out what to do when there are some many different ways of doing something. Which way is right? I'm so glad that God gave us the Bible. It's the right way, the only way. From beginning to end the Bible is a road map for life.

Thank you God for giving us one book on how to do things.

Deb
